The Primitives - Thru the Flowers: the Anthology (2004)

yesterday i was smiling everything seemed alright, but today sun's not shining see you in a different light

One of my favorite britpop acts from the 80's & beyond, The Primitives. A feel good compilation that contains the groups biggest hits and much more. There are plenty of hidden gems to discover on this delightful compilation. It came out in 2004 as an import and in the states it's tricky to find. Generally find it on amazon used for a large sum, but it's totally worth the penny. If you only know this band for their big radio hit, Crash, which was also featured in Dumb and Dumber, then you're in for a real treat.

British indie pop band the Primitives was formed in Coventry, England in mid-1985 by singer Kieron, guitarist Paul Court, bassist Steve Dullaghan, and drummer Pete Tweedie; after a handful of gigs Kieron was replaced by vocalist Tracy Tracy, a peroxide-blonde bombshell whose presence inspired a more melodic approach, which earned the group inevitable comparisons to Blondie." - Allmusic

Even Moz approves!

Nothing like Blondie! I do like Blondie but these guys are in a league of their own! Anywho, enjoy!
