Unrest - "Perfect Teeth" (1993)

East Coast 90's Indie/college rock

One of my favorite albums from the 90s. A catchy, jangle pop anthem from the D.C. group, Unrest. Heavily guitar driven, and extremely rhythmic - this is an album that you can easily listen to all the way through. It's sad that these guys aren't around anymore. They did a brief east coast tour about a year ago. I would travel to see their reunion. The album evolved from frontman, Mark Robinson's record label, Teenbeat records.  On occasion, bassist, Bridget Cross would lend her vocals, giving the album a nostalgic, passive alternative resonance. Highly recommended
