Mission of Burma - VS. (1982)

One of my favorite Post-punk bands ever, Mission of Burma has paved the way for so many alternative rock acts from the 80s thru present day. They're influence is so huge, and I feel after you listen to their debut album VS. you'll easily see why. This is one of the pinnacle post punk albums that emerged out of the US. Their guitar work is groundbreaking, broken down into punk rock rhythms, nostalgic melancholy & perfectly timed guitar thrashes. It's an incredible album and I'm so excited to share it with you all. Although it's relatively well known, for those of you who haven't had an opportunity to hear this out, please do. This is on the same wavelength as The Replacements, Wire, Gang of Four, Husker Du. Hurray to Boston for this excellent band!
