Split Enz - True Colours (1980)

Some Kiwi Rock for you! Kiwi New Wave ;) I remember seeing this album art growing up and thinking it was the coolest thing! Very unique, like XTC's Drums & Wires. Everytime I hear "I Got You" I can't stay still. Any song that makes me blush and gives me goosebumps is a life changing gem. I remember staring at these various album covers and the only connection I could make is "Staying up late with the adults!" This album is nostalgic but a beautifully crafted new wave gem. I heard Crowded House before anything by Split Enz and it's sometimes more fun to start backwards with a group. I heard a few earlier tracks and I'm excited to learn more about this group. Enjoy ;)
