The Names - Swimming (1982)

This is one of the best sounding dark wave synth albums I have heard in a very long time. It's so unique in comparisons to Depeche Mode, Siouxsie and Joy Division. The stunning synth sounds match the title of the album. The overall feel is as if you fell into an ocean and continuously explored the sea in darkness. Swimming is beautifully haunting album by the Belgian post-punk rockers, The Names. Swimming was the debut album, yet it was re-released as a cd with additional singles, which is the one I will provide for download. The first track is outstanding introduction, Floating World is my favorite song on the entire album, yet everysong is incredible! Enjoy! This album is one of my top gothic new wave albums ever.
